Guangzhou Baiyun Airport
Baiyun Airport: T1, T2 or T3 changes your route
Check your flight terminal before choosing a metro station or transfer.
Quick answer
Check the terminal on your airline’s current flight information. Airport South metro station serves T1; Airport North serves T2. T3 has its own intercity-rail stop, Baiyun Airport East. You can also transfer from Metro Line 3 at Gaozeng to the free T3 feeder bus. “Baiyun Airport” alone is not a precise destination.

Choose transport by terminal
Metro Line 3 → Airport South / 机场南
Metro Line 3 → Airport North / 机场北
Guangzhou East Ring intercity → Baiyun Airport East / 白云机场东
Or transfer by the signed terminal shuttle.
Service schematic, not a geographic map. Airport North serves T2, not T3. Check current connections and operating hours with airport staff.
Choose the route for your terminal
- T1 / 一号航站楼: Metro Line 3 to Airport South / 机场南.
- T2 / 二号航站楼: Metro Line 3 to Airport North / 机场北.
- T3 / 三号航站楼: Guangzhou East Ring intercity rail to Baiyun Airport East / 白云机场东, then follow terminal signs. This is an intercity train, not Metro Line 3.
- The airport also provides free terminal shuttles linking T1, T2 and T3. Ask the information desk for the current stop and operating arrangements.
Before setting off
- Check the airline’s terminal for your flight, including a return journey; an old booking screenshot may be outdated.
- For a taxi or transfer, show the terminal and flight number. For rail, check the service, last departure and any separate ticket requirement.
- Metro alternative for T3: take Metro Line 3 to Gaozeng / 高增, then follow signs to the Airport Bus 2 branch for T3. An official 1 October update says this feeder is free, normally runs every 5–10 minutes, and boards from the new Gaozeng station area reached by a covered walkway.
- Service can change late at night or during busy periods. Confirm the current last bus at Gaozeng or call the airport before relying on this route.
If you arrive at the wrong terminal
Show your flight number at the information desk and ask for the terminal shuttle. Call airport customer service on 020-96158 if you cannot find the desk. Tell your airline if the transfer puts you close to its check-in cutoff.
